“Early necromancy was related to & most likely evolved from shamanism, which calls upon spirits such as the ghosts of ancestors. Classical necromancers addressed the dead in “a mixture of high-pitch squeaking and low droning”, comparable to the trance state mutterings of shamans.”

Opening with a lightening blast of green mugwort & nut-like Tasmanian pepper, this quickly envelops one with ancestral smoke tearing through the dark forest of hinoki wood, cypress resin & pine tar absolute, clawing into a deep primordial muskrat black musk.

This scent is a commitment; truly unique, almost archaic, this aroma will linger for as long as it chooses to.

A note from our supplier on the sustainability of the ingredients: “This muskrat is produced from aged material collected from Canadian muskrats. Trappers work hand in hand with the government to control over-population which is thought to benefit both the muskrat and Human communities. These animals were trapped for their fur and much of this material goes to waste.”

Plant extract natural perfume is a work of art that will hold differing aromas upon each individual’s flesh throughout each aspect of the scent. From the opening top note to the final dry down, it is best experienced on the skin, opposed to solely sniffing the bottle, allowing the perfume to be truly embraced, understood & appreciated.
