Black Forest Candle

Sinister, fanciful, mysterious and mythical; the German Black Forest is bountiful in moss, pine, oak, beech, spruce and elm trees. Located in a large mountain range in Southwest Germany  (Schwarzwald in German). The name Black Forest comes from the general dark color of the numerous pine trees that grow in this region.

It’s said that this fragrant land beholds magical properties, for both the body and spirit. Legends tell of wicked women; weather, herb, and cattle witches, who completed their evil handiwork in all parts of the Black Forest.

We bring you this blend of pine, fir, spruce, birch, juniper and other dark wood wonders;  infused with wildcrafted pine, tree agate for Earth Connection and obsidian crystals, which are traditionally used for scrying, protection, clarity, cutting cords & cursing. For the wood witch, or simply lover of the aroma of damp pine, this aroma is sure to help one feel embraced by this magical region.
