A smoky blend of vetiver & oakmoss, with earth notes of mugwort, myrtle, patchouli, cypress & sandalwood, sweetness of amber & vanilla bean, spices of clove & pepper, with a slight undertone of citrus & blue tansy.
The Bog Witch is inspired by Jenny Greenteeth, a figure in English folklore. A river hag, similar to Peg Powler or a grindylow, she would pull children into the water and drown them. She was often described as green-skinned, with long hair, and sharp teeth, who lurks in the upper branches of trees at night.
Reeking of dirt, swamp water and tree debris, the Bog Witch can be very relatable for the witches not afraid to get dirty, spending their time digging & clawing through both their magic and lives. Aside of the unique herbalism and medicine that develops from surviving in such places, they tend to be specialists in seeing what most people would miss in such an environment as the Bog.
Slowly pour a small amount under warm running bath water; inhale deeply, focusing on the scent, submerge & soak for a minimum of 15 minutes for a most swampy, enveloping bathing experience.
