Brighten the Spirit Elixir

Uplifting • Supportive • Nurturing
Our #1 complaint from folks is the inability to find anything safe to take while on antidepressants. After studying a LOT of clinical trials, evaluations, assessments, systematic reviews, research papers & speaking with pharmacists & clinicians, we are so happy to have finally created a mood uplifting formulation deemed as safe for you specifically!
Antidepressants contain multiple chemical constituents which affect a variety of neurotransmitters involved in the pathophysiology of depression. There are a plethora of herbs that MUST be avoided while taking these to prevent medication effectiveness, increased or unwanted side effects, serotonin syndrome & much more. The list of herbs to avoid is long and includes favourites such as saint John’s wort, cohosh, vitex, etc.
After much clinical research, this elixir has been formulated specifically for these people currently taking prescriptions for depression including Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs), Selective serotonin-reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), Serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) & Non-TCA antidepressants. This is meant to be used in conjunction with these medications to help bring extra relief from symptoms associated with depression & medication side effects such as lethargy, melancholy, heartache, sadness, pain, grogginess & anxiety.
In clinical studies, uplifting, soothing, reparative & nourishing plant allies of saffron, ashwagandha, turmeric, rosemary, lavender, chamomile, nettle, rose & lemon balm have been shown in research to improve symptoms of depression including stagnation, chest fullness, anger, low energy, dull heaviness & more. We’ve added a touch of stevia leaf for a more palpable sweeter taste.
Once approved for use by your doctor, take 1 dropper full upon waking and as needed throughout the day, not exceeding 5 doses.
In addition to these helpful plant allies, mineral supplements are known to be extremely beneficial for those experiencing depression. Before trying any new supplements for depression, it’s important to ask a trusted healthcare professional about potential medication interactions or safety concerns. Recommended supplements: Omegas, Vitamins A, B, D, Magnesium, Zinc, SAM-e, potassium, selenium, thiamine. While supplements may be helpful in managing depression, they are not a cure for the condition. Therefore, when selecting supplements, be wary of products that claim to treat or cure depression.
