Heart Chakra Crystal Mist
Chakras are the energy centers of the body; they are a part of the esoteric medieval era beliefs about physiology and psychic centers that emerged across East Indian traditions. They are located in the astral body along the spine, starting at the base of the spine and running upwards to the crown of the head. Chakras are the circular vortexes of energy that are placed in seven different points on the spinal column, and all the seven chakras are connected to the various organs and glands within the body.
The belief held that human life simultaneously exists in two parallel dimensions, one “physical body” (sthula sarira) and other “psychological, emotional, mind, non-physical” it is called the “subtle body” (sukshma sarira). This subtle body is energy, while the physical body is mass. The psyche or mind plane corresponds to and interacts with the body plane, and the belief holds that the body and the mind mutually affect each other. The subtle body consists of nadi (energy channels) connected by nodes of psychic energy called chakra. The Chakras are traditionally considered meditation aids, with the goal being to progress from lower chakras to the highest chakra blossoming in the crown of the head. Chakras have the loving responsibility of taking in, incorporating and emanating energy to keep us functioning at optimal levels.
The chakras are thought to vitalize the physical body and to be associated with interactions of a physical, emotional and mental nature. Breathing Deeply, when done with intention, can restore your chakras as well. Each inhales directs energy to your chakra, while each exhale allows awareness to settle into your chakras. This practice can open up your chakras and bring harmonic balance back to your mind, body, and soul. Many experience sensations of moving energy, deep relaxation, feelings of being supported and nurtured, or visions of images and colors. Some experience an emotional release such as tears, or they may develop insight into specific areas of their lives.
The heart chakra (Anahata) is located at the center of chest, just above the heart. The bridge between the lower chakras (associated with materiality) and the upper chakras (associated with spirituality). As the name suggests, this chakra can influence our ability to give and receive love—from others and ourselves. Someone with a blocked heart chakra will have difficulty fully opening up to the people in their life. If someone’s heart is open, they can experience deep compassion and empathy. Blocks in our heart chakra can manifest in our physical health through heart problems, asthma, and weight issues. But blocks are often seen even more clearly through people’s actions. People with heart chakra blocks often put others first, to their own detriment. It’s the middle of the seven chakras, so it bridges the gap between our upper and lower chakras, and it also represents our ability to love and connect to others. When out of alignment, it can make us feel lonely, insecure, and isolated. The color associated with it is green, the element is Air and the crystal is green jade.
To assist in reducing sorrow, enabling one to radiate love, this blend has been slowly infused with healing plant allies of jasmine, red rose, ylang ylang, bergamot and melissa leaf. Each bottle contains green jade crystal to amplify its benefits. Shake bottle well and mist onto the chest area over the heart as needed. An excellent Mantra for working with the heart chakra is “When I love myself, loving others comes easily.”; some folks find it helpful to close their eyes and repeat these affirming words out-loud as a part of the healing process.
As these are all energetic centers of the body that correspond to feelings, one of them may resonate with you right now, while a different one may resonate with you tomorrow. It’s likely that one resonates with you more than any others as a continuous problem, a chakra where you often deal with blocks. Other blockages may pop up every now and then, which is why we’ve created these mists unique to each chakra needing work.
