Since the early 1800s indigenous peoples have been bringing their sick to the lake they named after the spirit Manitou. The practice started after some Assiniboine afflicted with smallpox were cured after drinking and submerging themselves in its waters. This is a wonderful piece of Canadian history, rich with the power of natural healing and ingredients; we highly recommend further reading on this lake and it’s discovery by our First Nations!
The naturally occurring mineral content in this mud includes Magnesium Sulphate, Magnesium Bicarbonate, Sodium Sulphate, Potassium Sulphate, Sodium Chloride, Calcium Sulphate, Oxide of Iron & Aluminum, and Silica. This makes this an extremely potent, natural skin care mud, which is unable to be replicated in a lab without adding synthetic harsh chemicals.
Simply apply mud to the entire face, allowing it to dry until cracked then rinse with warm water.
Safe for all skin types, we recommend allowing the skin to completely dry before adding any form of moisturizer to absorb the complete mineral content and experience the full benefits.
Excellent for joint pain and general mineral absorption, this mud can be applied to the entire body as well.
