Horsetail Hair Oil

$15.00

Horsetail is a popular fern that has been used as an herbal remedy since the times of the Greek and Roman Empires. Thanks to its silicon and antioxidant contents, horsetail is one of the best plant allies for hair health.

Naturally occurring antioxidants in this wildcrafted horsetail helps reduce micro-inflammation and the aging of hair fibers caused by free radicals. Using this plant adds a higher silicon content in hair fiber, resulting in a lower rate of hair loss, as well as increased brightness & shine.

Unrefined organic hemp seed oil contains gamma-linoleic acid, which improves the condition of hair and contributes to keratin formation for stronger and healthier strands. The gamma-linoleic acid is a ceramide source, so it contributes to retaining protein and water in your hair structure. An age-old remedy long used in traditional medicine, castor oil is also said to moisturize the scalp, ease dandruff, and leave your hair smooth and shiny. When applied to the scalp, it’s purported to enhance the health of the hair follicles and, in turn, promote hair growth (as well as protect against hair loss). Essential oils of ancient red cedar & rosemary with dragonsblood resin are used to promote hair growth and reduce hair loss by balancing the oil-producing glands in the scalp. These also have antifungal and antibacterial properties, which can treat different conditions that may contribute to dandruff or hair loss.

Apply to hair that is wet or dry, depending on your styling routine. Amount needed to use depends upon length, thickness & coarseness of one’s hair. Apply from mid hair shaft to the ends as often as needed.

100% Vegan, synthetic and nut free, wildcrafted and sustainably sourced ingredients.
