Unrefined organic hemp seed oil contains gamma-linoleic acid, which improves the condition of hair and contributes to keratin formation for stronger and healthier strands. The gamma-linoleic acid is a ceramide source, so it contributes to retaining protein and water in your hair structure. Pracaxi oil is derived from the pentaclethra macroloba tree native to the northern Neotropics. Because it contains one of the highest concentrations of behenic acid (a fatty acid responsible for hydrating and protecting when used in skin and haircare), it is one of the most sought after in cosmetic products around the world (argan is cheaper than pracaxi, which is why it is used more often). Baobab oil also makes a wonderful hair and scalp moisturizer that absorbs deeply into the hair follicles. It can help to treat dandruff and itchy scalp when the scalp is overly dry. Regular treatments of baobab oil gives the hair a healthy shine, prevent dryness and makes thin hair look more full. Vegetable derived hydrolyzed oat protein is used in hair care products as it helps retain and add moisture and softness, texture and manageability to the hair.
