La Fee Verte Perfume

A glass of absinthe is as poetical as anything in the world. What difference is there between a glass of absinthe and a sunset? ~ Oscar Wilde

In French, the word “absinthe” means “wormwood.” It was also known as the “green fairy” during its heyday in France in the 1800s. The Green Fairy is the English translation of La Fee Verte, the French nickname given to absinthe in the 19th century. Long rumored to cause madness, no other drink has inspired so much fear, so much awe, and allure as absinthe. The drink is distinguished by its dazzling emerald green clarity, due to its chlorophyll content. A big part of absinthe’s lore comes from the rituals surrounding it’s consumption and the special equipment required to make this drink; writers, artists & socialites engaged in the ritual of consuming absinthe, creating some of their best works under the influence of this infamous drink.

Chase the Green Fairy with this sticky green pungent wormwood aroma, with botanical anise & fennel, recreate the ritual of dripping water over a sugar cube suspended above the glass with a touch of vanilla bean, amber resin & oud in a base of unrefined organic hemp oil infused with wild harvested wormwood.

Each 15ml clear glass apothecary bottle has been infused with wildcrafted wormwood & emerald green eco glitter, reminiscent of the color of true absinthe.

Let us toast to animal pleasures, to escapism, to rain on the roof and instant coffee, to unemployment insurance and library cards, to absinthe and good-hearted landlords, to music and warm bodies and contraceptives… and to the “good life”, whatever it is and wherever it happens to be. ~ Hunter S. Thompson
