Poplar Bud Salve

A natural antibiotic and anti-inflammatory, healing poplar bud extract contains antioxidants revered for its anti-aging effects on human cells. Medicinally, it is traditionally used as a folk remedy for its anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-rheumatic effects, making it amazing  for to reduce pain and swelling, skin rashes, irritations, wounds, muscle aches and pains, burns, and arthritis pain. A great comforter, Balm of Gilead (poplar bud) is used magically to soothe the heart and bring peace to the home. Poplars are symbolically associated with fear, which is why they bring an inner calm to most of us. Reminiscent of the woods during spring time, this is to encourage rebirth, to bring comfort and relief, and as a reminder that the dark always returns to light.

An all purpose salve, this is one of our best sellers, only made yearly from the previous spring. When the buds slowly pop out of the poplar tree, they are infused for one full year for maximum effect.

These buds have been wildcrafted, macerated then infused in unrefined organic hemp oil. With a naturally gorgeous resinous aroma, this is free of any essential oils or synthetics. Slowly warmed with dark beeswax from our local apiary.

This balm can be worn to soften the skin, as a natural perfume, and used ritually to anoint self and objects. Highly recommended for self love work!
