Shadow Work is how we integrate the aspects of our unconscious psyche into our conscious experience and allow the positive aspects of the shadow to express themselves. One of the most important things to remember when engaging with shadow work is to be compassionate with yourself.
There are very specific plant allies that can help us bring the clarity & acceptance needed to delve deeper into this sometimes uncomfortable work; the most commonly used for their potency are clary sage, self heal, rosemary, yarrow, lilac, jasmine, lavender, eucalyptus & sage. Red Hawaiian sea salt, black salt & camphor resin are used for protection & to purify.
Onyx, jet, smokey quartz, shaman stone, fulgurite, rainbow moonstone, amethyst & clear quartz are crystals included in shadow work. To help find our grey area, black & white candles are worked with, which can be anointed with these herbs.
