Western Redcedar Leaf Pure Essential Oil

One of the things the Canadian West Coast is known internationally for is their unbelievable old growth cedar. Abundant & glowing green, there are many areas where one can look up to the sky and see cedar almost touching the stars. Western Redcedar is immortal, these trees have been known to live over 1,500 years. Western Red Cedars grow significantly bigger than their Northern cousins, so they contain a larger ring of sapwood.

Redcedar leaf (Thuja plicata) organic, pure essential oil, distilled on the Canadian West Coast by a small family owned business.  A strong top note, Western red cedar is darker in color and its odor is somewhat stronger than northern white cedar,  has a sweet, pleasant smell. Also known as  the Tree Of Life, it grows near freshwater; this specific oil comes from the rainforest cliffs of the Pacific Ocean.

Medicinally, cedar is used for respiratory issues, anxiety, diabetes, insomnia & as a disinfectant. Magically, it’s used for protection, purifying energy, balance, healing, grounding, contacting the spirit world, funerary rites & plant devotion.
